A boy by the name of Toto stole the hearts of the audience with his adorable voice, stature, and performance. Toto's Young character was played by Salvatore Cascio, Marco Leonardi played the teenage adolescence Toto, and Adult Toto is played by Jacques Perrin. Young Toto is an ambisiouse little rascal that gets himself into a bit of a coil with Alfredo, the man who runs the projector at the Cinema Paradiso. Toto like looking through the movie reels at home so he takes them from alfredo. Alfredo is then forced to banish Toto from the Projector booth. Toto inevitably takes over alfredo's role as the projector after alfredo is burned and blinded in a reel fire. gorws up, finds love, looses love, moves away. Then he shows up at Alfredo's funeral in the end.
